Cindy R. Williams graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Broadcast News. She worked in television for several years, both in front and behind the camera. She received the American Red Cross Certificate of Merit from President Ronald Reagan for saving the life of a young boy while serving as a lifeguard.

Chase McKay Didn't Get Up Today is Cindy's first book, a picture book for little ones and their parents, published by Goodfellow Press.

Cindy is an accomplished Harpist along with being an author. She is a member of the Arizona Society of Harpists. She played guitar, keyboards and sang in an all girl rock band named Fancy Hardware during her college years. She composes harp and guitar music and will be releasing her Harp CD "Dragons Song" in tandem with book one of the trilogy Thundertail's Tale.

Cindy is currently serving as the Treasurer on the General Board of ANWA. She lives in Arizona when she is not in one of her imaginary worlds with her practical husband and five lively children.
