Heather Horrocks was born in Utah but, as the daughter of an oil man, grew up traversing the globe. She is grateful not only for the great exposure she had to experience diverse cultures, but also for the wonderful opportunities to swim beaches from South America to the Middle East, climb the steps of the Roman Coliseum, and walk the path that Jesus walked in Jerusalem. She lived in the Middle East (Kuwait and Iran) during her formative junior high and high school years, and was even at the airport in Cairo a few moments before it was bombed in 1967.When she’s not writing or speaking about writing and achieving dreams, Heather enjoys relaxing with her family, watching good movies, and reading good booksthrough which she can travel again to exotic locales and even through time to other incredible eras. Her first book, Women Who Knew: The Mortal Messiah, is available here, and will soon be in LDS bookstores. She has written many books and children's books, three of which will be out in 2005 (Men Who Knew The Mortal Messiah, You Just Turned 8, and Suzie Q-That-Stands-For-Wonderful), as well as her WhoDunHim Inn cozy mystery series that is being submitted to the national market soon. Heather loves to hear from readers, who can reach her at P.O. Box 27208, SLC, UT 84127-0108, or through her web site at HeatherHorrocks.com. |
