Kelly C. Hinton has published works in a variety of arenas—from
children's musical plays and scripts, produced and published by
Columbia Pictures, Belwin Productions, and Warner Brothers—to
articles and columns appearing in the "Ensign," "This People," and
the former "Latter-day Sentinel" newspaper.Other recent projects include writing and performing original songs for an eight-part series about the arts, commissioned by ARTV and distributed throughout the United States by PBS Television. Kelly has an extensive musical background and has been a studio musician for many years. She currently sings with the professional vocal group, Nuance, which represented Arizona by performing at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' 25th Anniversary, at the invitation of Senator John McCain. Kelly is currently working on a book entitled Lunch at Memorial Union, a Christmas Collection, and her fourth volume of poetry, Sepia Tones. She graduated from Arizona State University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in English. |
