Stephanie Abney has been a member of American Night Writers for many years. She has been published in various literary magazines; the nationally syndicated “good news” insert The Front Porch; and in Woman’s World magazine. Stephanie has won both national and international writing contests. Two of her essays appear in the book, By Small and Simple Things. She wrote, edited and published her own conservative grassroots political newsletter, called Stephanie Says So, in the late 80’s, and is a frequent contributor to ANWA’s newsletter, Of Good Report, and the Arizona Beehive newspaper.

Stephanie is a substitute teacher and eternal optimist. She has studied computer graphic arts, screenwriting and the Native American Flute. She recently returned to school to get her teaching certification.

Stephanie lives in Mesa with her husband, Jim. She has five children (four living) and fourteen grandchildren.
