ANWA has chapters located in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Washington State, and Online chapters for members who do not have ready access to a geographically located chapter. Mostbut not allchapters meet monthly during the evening hours. Ask about days and times of meetings before you visit a chapter. Online chapters have, as their home base, a Yahoo!Group. They hold their monthly meetings for about an hour in ANWA's Chat Room. This dual contact works well to help members get to know each other and to bond as chapter members. You may visit a physical ANWA chapter one or two times to see if we are right for you (sorry, this doesn't apply to online chapters). If you wish to continue attending meetings after two visits, you are required to join ANWA. For information about meetings, please send your name, phone number, and e-mail address to anwa@anwa-lds.com or mail them to ANWA Membership Secretary Marsha Ward at P O Box 53, Payson AZ 85547. If you live in the Phoenix metropolitan area, or other areas with more than one existing chapter, please include your major cross streets, and where you live in relation to them (Example: SE of Broadway and Power Rd. in Mesa). If you live in the East Valley, indicate whether you want to attend a daytime or nighttime chapter (one of the online chapters also meets during the day). Either Marsha or a chapter officer will contact you about the chapter meeting. Thank you for your interest in ANWA. Two or more ANWA members in an area may petition the ANWA Presidency for permission and instructions in order to form an ANWA chapter. You must join ANWA before you request this permission. The Presidency will appoint a leader to organize the chapter. For information or instructions for chapter organization, e-mail anwa@anwa-lds.com. |
